And an useless fact to know: the element bromine got its name from the old greeks who named it after its awful vapour. (greek: bromos --> unpleasant smell). And I think it's funny that the Greek named arsenic (which is toxic) after the greek word for male or bold (arsenikos)...  They had a nice sense of humour. :-D
