A raccoon's world

I tried for several hours to update my laptop from Ubuntu 7.04 to Ubuntu 8.04 and it still doesn't work -.- The DVD is okay, I tried it on my PC and it worked perfectly. I searched the Ubuntu forum but noone else seems to have a problem installing 8.04 I saw pictures of it, it looks really cool and I wish I could switch to it :-( Maybe it works tomorrow?

I'm going to search for the missing plugins now -.-

btw... I'm near the end of the second season of the X-files...
